My brother Arturo started working with Aprigliano law firm about 10 years ago! Arturo’s dream was to get his Italian citizenship. Our mother is the daughter of two Italians and he found out that; being son of an American/Italian and having Italian ancestors, this could be achieved. Arturo hired Aprigliano’s firm and they directed my brother on how to obtain every record necessary to get his Italian passport. This was no easy task due to the fact that all of records were in Montellasi, buried in an office for many years. Finally, after 6 to 7 years he was able to collect all the necessary records. This was a task that was only achieved with Aprigliano’s help. Finally his dream came true and about 5 years ago he picked up his Italian passport! When i realized that Aprigliano had all the documents already in his power from my grandparents, I proceeded to get mine, my mom’s and my son’s Italian passport. I communicated with Aprigliano and he was more than happy to help me. He gave me the name of a company called Ítalo Mondo that does all the diligencies to obtain birth certificates and so on. I hired them to get all of our records from NY. Then came the pandemia and everything stalled for two years. We revived the project and Aprigliano together with his secretary Laura Gronda, worked intensively with Ítalo Mondo until all of our records necessary were in order to bring to the Italian court. I am so impressed with this Law firm, they left no stone unturned until they finally got the judge to look into our petition and granted us to become Italians.
